OUR STORY
Phil and Tatiana Turcanu’s journey began with a simple yet profound observation: the system is failing our students. They noticed first-hand how the education system is not sufficiently preparing students for the transition from junior high school to high school and from high school to post-secondary education. This gap often leaves students overwhelmed. This frustration fueled the fire to develop Maslin Academy’s unique educational approach.
At Maslin Academy, Phil and Tatiana, along with their team of top class tutors, aim to change this, focusing not only on academic support but also on developing confident individuals with essential skills for higher education and the workforce.
The couple sought to create a more personalized and supportive educational experience. Taking a holistic approach to their student’s development they incorporate elements often overlooked in the educational system and most other tutoring services: Critical Thinking, Deeper Understanding & Emotional Well-Being.
