Philipe Andre
Co-founder
A passionate individual with over 10 years of tutoring experience. With ambitions of becoming a Physics and Math professor, Philipe has worked with many students of all ages and abilities in a variety of subjects. He pours his heart into working with every student he takes on. Philipe loves working with students and has ensured to always be tutoring, even while being a post-graduate student at the University of Ottawa.

Tatiana Turcanu
Co-founder
Tatiana is a new graduate from University of Ottawa with a Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences with mastery in Technologies, Innovation and Health Care. Currently working on other post-graduate studies, Tatiana has been tutoring for 6 years now most commonly in Biology and Chemistry. She has had tons of experience helping not only high school students but also university level students having worked with teaching assistants and assisted in making of lesson plans.

Melanie has always had a passion for helping people and helping individuals reach their true potential. She has been tutoring for over a decade, supporting the success of dozens of students. Melanie recently graduated from medical school and is in the process of applying to residency. She has tutored a variety of high school, university, and medical school subjects, with a particular emphasis on high school biology, social studies and grade 9/10 math, as well as university biology, biochemistry, and psychology. Melanie is also uniquely qualified to tutor first and second year medical school courses, having scored in the 96th percentile on her latest USMLE board exam. Melanie’s tutoring philosophy is to meet each student where they are at and work with them to surpass their goals. Every person is unique, so Melanie tailors her sessions to each student’s learning style to ensure that they continue to grow and develop throughout their tutoring sessions.

Saeid Kholgi

Saeid is a third-year TMM (translational and molecular medicine) student at uOttawa. He spent the first two years of his undergraduate studies in biomedical science, and before that, he was an industrial engineering student for a while. The most valuable lesson Saeid has learned so far is that as long as you find yourself curious about something, no matter how hard it seems or how little you know about it, you will be able to find your way through it if you accept the challenge and are patient. This is the main characteristic he would like to help his students unlock! =)

Aspiring to become a professor of mathematics, Nicolas is a second year student at the University of Ottawa. His passion for the subject as well as his deep understanding of the concepts at hand allow him to identify exactly where students need help. He strives to show that mathematics are really not as intimidating as they may seem; all it takes is some well adjusted guidance.

Parsa Salehi
Master’s in Chemical Engineering, uOttawa
Currently pursuing his Master’s in Chemical Engineering at the University of Ottawa, Parsa brings both academic excellence and international experience to his tutoring. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Tehran, where he developed a strong foundation in complex scientific principles. Parsa is passionate about helping students break down difficult concepts into manageable pieces, making chemistry and related subjects feel much more approachable. With a calm and thoughtful approach, he ensures each student gets the personalized support they need to succeed.

Taylor Eastwood

Taylor is a Queen’s University student and a Varsity Athlete for the Queen’s Women’s Hockey Team. She works as a math tutor for Maslin. Taylor’s passion for mathematics led her to choose the Commerce program at Queen’s. She enjoys tutoring for several reasons, including helping students learn, seeing them make progress and achieve their full potential, and making math less intimidating for them.

Shimi Smith

If you’re looking for guidance in computer science or AI, Shimi is your man. Shimi graduated from the University of Toronto where he completed his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, minor in Mathematics, and a focus in Artificial Intelligence. While working as a teaching assistant, he found a joy in teaching and has been tutoring students ever since. Shimi caters his teaching approach to each student and strongly believes that everyone can learn by finding the unique approach that clicks for them.

On his way to medical school this fall, Emile is currently completing his Honours Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science. Emile is passionate about helping students build both their understanding and their self-assurance, guiding them toward success through patience, encouragement, and clear explanations.
